Pierre and his family made us feel very welcome, even though his mother had passed away just a few days before we arrived and relatives were there for the funeral. I’m sure it was a stressful time to have guests, but they were incredibly accommodating. Pierre and his brother-in-law, Azzedine, also handled my vegan breakfast preferences just as I wanted: apples, tea, and toast with confiture, while my husband enjoyed croissant with chocolate, coffee, yoghurt, and the other French breakfast items. We stayed four nights and loved it. Our room was large and homey, with a big shower where the water warmed up quickly, and very warm blankets for the cold weather. Though it faced the street, it was quiet with the windows closed. When we arrived late, the house smelled like something wonderful was cooking, like Thanksgiving turkey to an American, and Pierre offered to make us dinner. This B&B feels like a cozy home.

We booked this guesthouse through a gift box and were glad we did. The host was attentive but discreet, the rooms very clean, and the evening meals were good and simple. Breakfast was enjoyable too. Such a pleasant stay, thank you!

The food was delicious and generous, and the rooms were clean and roomy with comfortable beds. The hosts were lovely and attentive. We picked this place through a Smartbox gift set and would definitely return to this warm, authentic guesthouse. The family has had the house for five generations.

We had a lovely weekend getaway after choosing this place through a gift box. The staff greeted us warmly and had dinner ready for us. The meal featured regional food and was served on beautiful tableware. The house still has its original character, with period decor, a lovely patio, and a spacious, comfortable room. It’s a great base for exploring the Corbières and Minervois regions. I highly recommend it.

We chose Le Sillon d'Alaric with a Smartbox gift voucher and had a wonderful weekend in the owners’ family home. Their welcome stood out: always smiling, available, and flawless. The homemade meals were delicious and well prepared. The place has plenty of authentic charm and beautiful antique furniture. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with good quality bedding. We weren’t disappointed at all.
