We chose the lunch set menu and it was really good value. Sitting out on the terrace was lovely, and the staff made us feel very welcome. They were especially great with our baby daughter.

The terrace beneath the wisteria was a lovely place to sit, with a fantastic view over the village. We were welcomed warmly, and the food was excellent and fairly priced. A really nice way to begin our holiday.

We came back in 2023 after four years away because of COVID, and it was still amazing. We’ve had so many excellent meals here over the years, with wonderful food and wine and attentive service. The owner is lovely and gracious. Thank you! Eric & Michele xx

The setting under the old wisteria arbor is always enjoyable, with a view of one of France’s most beautiful villages. The meal itself was disappointing, though. The “tartar of old tomatoes” came iced and overwhelmed with vinegar for 17 €, and the thin trout steak was accompanied by “small vegetables” that were canned mushrooms with a few carrot slices. The details matter, and management at the “Bon accueil” ought to pay more attention to them or French and international customers may soon tire of it.

This is a pleasant place to stay in a small, beautiful historic town. The room and restaurant were both good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is popular, so booking ahead is a good idea, especially as there aren't many choices nearby. The panoramic garden is just a few steps above the restaurant.
