After a long, tiring drive from the south toward the UK, the friendly feel of the hotel and kind staff were just what I needed. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and I liked having internal corridors and a lift instead of rooms reached from an outside walkway and open stairs, as at some other B&Bs. I ate in the small, comfortable restaurant that evening. The pizza was very good, and breakfast the next morning was worth recommending too. I’d consider staying here again if I make the same journey.

A handy place to stop overnight, and easy to get to. Everyone was welcoming and pleasant, and they helped us find somewhere to eat even though it was late. Our room was warm, clean and quiet, and breakfast was very good. Exactly what we needed after a long day on the road.

The evening meal was the letdown for us. We tried the hotel food on our second night, and it felt like low quality school canteen food from the 1970s. Pataterie, about 75 metres away, was much better for roughly the same price, so I’d suggest eating at one of the nearby restaurants. Otherwise, this is a satisfactory hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Our superior room was adequate, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options, though no full English. Three stars feels about right for what it offers.

Back for our third one-night stay with our little dog. The bed was really comfortable, and we appreciated the breakfast. Thanks to the attentive staff. We’ll be back next year.
