A clean room, comfortable bed, easy parking and friendly staff made this good value basic accommodation. It's handy for the A20 autoroute. Breakfast is cheap and filling enough. Lidl is within walking distance if you'd rather pick up picnic supper than eat at the cheap-and-cheerful truckers' restaurant across the road.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For an overnight stop it can be good value, but I wouldn't recommend it to tourists. We booked two nights and left after one. There was just a bed, TV, toilet and shower, with no kettle or other way to make a drink. One vending machine was empty, and the other wouldn't take a card despite saying it did. We don't use cash, so we couldn't get anything to drink. There was a microwave in reception, but it was locked away outside opening hours, leaving no way to get a drink or warm food in the room. It would be awful if you needed to heat a baby's bottle overnight. Lidl is a five-minute walk away, with a few restaurants nearby. The hotel sits at the end of an industrial road full of lorries and vans. Buses seemed to run hourly until 19:30, then stopped, though a reliable service into and out of town was a 15-minute walk away. A little kettle in the room would have made all the difference.

It was a good stay for the price, apart from the cleaning crew coming into our room twice while we were asleep.

Everything was fine, and the staff were pleasant. The room had a clear toilet smell, though. Luckily, I had some Febreze in the car.

A clean, basic place, better than some similar hotels. The walk-in rate seemed expensive, though. It's in an industrial hotel zone, which makes it handy for an overnight stop.
