The bed and shower were great, and breakfast was good once we found it. This is a nice old house, but the self-service setup needs to be made clearer. You get keycodes for the property and bedroom, yet there's no clear sign showing where the kitchen is, where breakfast is kept in the fridge if you've ordered it. I found the room decor rather ghastly. I don't expect to pass through Limoges again soon, but if you're just passing through, I'd look for a more conventional hotel. It might be perfect for seminars or business retreats, though. Thanks for the unusual experience.

The self check-in was easy, and we had a pleasant, restful stay. The house is beautifully decorated, and we loved having a private terrace. Its central location made it easy to explore the old town, and we ate exceptional food nearby at La Table du Couvent.

My daughter and I came for a cooking class, and it was an absolutely memorable experience. Guillaume Ragot and his team were excellent, attentive teachers. We made recipes that should be easy to recreate at home, and left with useful preparation tips, including how to make fermented carrot juice, delighted taste buds, and lots of memories. The setting was welcoming and sumptuous, in a superb private mansion in the heart of Limoges that deserves to be better known. An address not to miss. We'll be back, for another class or perhaps an overnight stay.

We were passing through to see Limoges and had a wonderful stay. The place feels elegant and peaceful, yet the central market and city centre are only a two-minute walk away. Our room was spacious, with the added bonus of a separate area and bed for a child. The concept is very well thought out: you have freedom, with real support available if you need it.
