10/10
From the outside, the hotel gives a misleading impression. Inside it feels fresh and contemporary, and the accommodation is functional and better than average. The small spa and pool did the trick. Rooms were modern and clean, with an interior design that worked well throughout. Breakfast covered the basics and a little more, including fresh orange juice and a good range of choices and extras. A step above the average.

A relaxed, comfortable hotel and a really nice stay. My room was compact but had everything well arranged. The wireless phone charger beside the bed was a particularly nice touch, and having a coffee machine in the room was a bonus.

The rooms are small, but have all the amenities you need. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are good. I didn’t try breakfast, though it looked good. Staff were friendly and the stay was pleasant overall. I’d come back. The boulanger next door is wonderful. The train station is an easy walk, and walking into the city is manageable too. Parking is only on the street and public, with a small charge from 09.00 to 19.00.

The front facing room was lovely, fresh and clean, with a comfy bed. Staff and service were excellent. Breakfast had a really good range of food, and the pool and sauna area was awesome.

We had a lovely weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable, and all the staff were kind and friendly. The spa was very good and clean too. We’ll stay again.
