A really convenient place for an overnight stop, and the restaurant next door turned out to be a great bonus. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly.

After a 12-hour drive from the UK, we get exactly what we need here: rooms that are fresh and clean. My staff and I stay 2-4 times a week, and the hotel team are friendly and always try to fit our room preferences and the odd times of day we need each room. Thank you 🙏

We picked this hotel as a last minute place to break the drive back to the UK, without having time to visit Limoges itself. It was a pleasant, hassle-free night and well worth the price. Check-in around 9 pm was easy despite a small queue. I can't remember whether checkout was at noon or perhaps as late as 1 pm. I think I'd paid for breakfast but didn't get to it, after a busy day in Toulouse and so much time on the road. The weather had been freezing, foggy all the way, and around -2 degrees when I arrived. The bed was firm, which suits me, though the double might feel small for a couple. There's also a single bunk above it. The duvet was thin, as I find European duvets often are compared with the much thicker ones in the UK. The room was adequate for one night, but not completely clean and could use renovation. The shower was great, properly hot, with shower gel and shampoo provided. The toilet is a tiny cubicle, but does the job. There's a small TV, which I watched even though it was in French, and space for a suitcase. I also liked the traditional French shutters, operated by a string. It took a bit of figuring out, but they block light well. The room was quiet and decent, though it wasn't warm in winter. You can hear the autoroute, but I didn't mind. I even enjoyed looking out for French cars I rarely see in Britain. Parking was free. I was a little unsure of the area and worried about my car, but it was still there, undamaged, the next morning. The hotel did what I needed at a cheap price, and I'd come back for another last minute stop on my travels through France.

Of all the Ibis hotels on our trip across Europe, this was probably the best. Congratulations.
