Chambre dHôtes Au Coeur de Lisieux

Marie Paul and Thierry are such lovely people that we came away feeling we'd made new friends. The location is excellent, the room was great, and breakfast was delicious. They can also be booked for a drive to the coast. Can't wait to return and spend longer exploring the area.

The house is near the cathedral, with free parking across the street on weekends. Our spacious, quiet room in this beautiful home made us feel very comfortable, and the stay was simple and convenient. Marie-Paule and Thierry gave us a really warm welcome and worked around our schedule. Breakfast felt just like home. We highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

Marie-Paule and Thierry, thank you for making us feel at home in the heart of Lisieux. You welcomed us so naturally and simply that it felt like we'd known you for ages. Your daughter was there during our short stay too, and together you made us feel completely at ease. We really enjoyed the time around your table, morning and evening, and all the varied, interesting conversations. The table d'hôtes deserves a special mention. Thierry is a passionate cook and a real "Top Chef," turning out generous, flavorful meals that surprised and delighted us each night. Bravo, Chef, and thanks for sharing your love of cooking. Marie-Paule, thank you for listening so attentively and for your kindness. You were caring, responsive, and clearly put your heart into hosting. It was a short visit, but we already want to come back. All the best from the bikers, Pierre and Monique.

The large room had a wonderfully comfortable king-size bed and a spacious shower, which we appreciated as tall people. Marie-Paule and Thierry welcomed us so warmly, and their kindness, conversations, and advice for our visits all added to the stay. Thierry's meals were delicious and balanced. Just steps from the cathedral, this bed and breakfast is ideally located. Our time in Normandy became an unforgettable trip, and we're so grateful for the hospitality.
