The breakfast had a good choice, and the staff were friendly. The bed was very comfortable, and the shutters helped make the room darker for sleeping. There was some noise from neighbours, though that's probably hard to avoid in a hotel, and a coach trip meant there were lots of people around. The location works if you're happy with the on-site restaurant, nearby fast food and supermarkets. It's less suited to finding a quaint restaurant. I'd say it's best for a stopover, sightseeing or a business stay.

The room was small but laid out well. Heavy curtains separated the bathroom from the sleeping area, and the bed, with its memory foam mattress and pillows, was extremely comfortable. The crisp white cotton linen and the whole room were spotless. The food was very fresh, and they were happy to meet all dietary requirements. The family who own and run the hotel will go out of their way to accommodate requests. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in, highly recommended.

The food was delicious and plentiful, and breakfast had an impressive range. Little details stood out too: bonbons on the pillows, retractable window shutters, a heated towel rack and a barn door for the bathroom. The décor was incredible, and you could see how much pride the family puts into the place. My outlet converter's fuse had gone, and the receptionist, the owner's wife, immediately lent us one and gave us one as well. The staff were amazing, and no request was too much. The room was vvvvvvvvv clean, the bed was amazing, and the shower was lush and spotless too. There's all the modern kit you'd want, like coffee making, a modern TV and USB charging points. Breakfast had everything needed, with both cold and hot buffet. Really beautiful hotel, I'd stay again.
