B&B HOTEL Evry Lisses (2)

The location information was wrong for me, and the airport was 45 minutes away. I paid for 10 nights but left after two because the rooms were so hot. The family room's old, outdated AC couldn't cool it, and they refused a refund because I'd booked through Expedia. Staff could barely speak English, even though the site lists it as a spoken language. The manager was very difficult to reach by phone or email, as was reception.

The morning receptionist was extremely rude and didn't even say good morning. After a night with people yelling and running in the hallways until 3 a.m., that was the last straw. We came for one night's rest and couldn't get any. If you're passing through and need sleep, go somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all, and would give it zero stars if I could.

The staff we met in the morning were exceptionally friendly and helpful, though nobody was there when we arrived in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, having stayed in French hotels many times on my travels. They're basic but easy to use, and the bed was comfortable, if a little narrow.

We were able to get back on our journey promptly the next morning, helped by the friendly staff and good breakfast. The hotel is a handy stop along the autoroute. The family room has two levels, with the children sleeping above the bathroom. That bathroom was a bit small, unfortunately.
