Chateau Talaud

Fabienne and Nicholas made us feel like part of their family. They were there when we needed help or had questions, and gave us space when we wanted a quiet moment. They even cooked us dinner one evening, one of the best meals we had on the trip. Charlie, their dog, brought plenty of fun and snuggles, too. The chateau is magnificent, beautiful, very well kept and as comfortable as anywhere we’ve stayed. It’s also well placed for day trips around Provence, while still close enough to Avignon to make getting to and from Paris easy. We’d recommend Chateau Talaud to anyone visiting the region. I only wish we’d had more time there. Merci beaucoup, Fabienne and Nicholas, pour tout.

The property is even more stunning in person, and its location makes it easy to visit Avignon, Gordes, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and other towns. My friend and I had such a good stay at Chateau Talaud. Fabienne and Nicholas were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome. It was the perfect Provence retreat.

After a month of staying in hotels, we wanted more room to unwind for four nights, so we booked the cottage beside the chateau. It was an amazing, spacious one-bedroom place, with a kitchen, dining area and lounge, all beautifully furnished. Being able to pick up food in the local village and cook made the stay easy and relaxing. Fabienne and Nicholas took care of what we needed, and the pool in the lovely grounds was a bonus. I’d definitely recommend Chateau Talaud.

The house and its surroundings are beautiful, and breakfast was great, with the hosts adjusting things to suit our needs. Fabienne and Nicolas greeted us warmly when we arrived. They clearly care about giving guests a good experience and enjoy sharing their enthusiasm for the region and the mansion. I highly recommend this chateau!
