Nemea La Soulane

The staff were helpful and understanding when I forgot check-in ended at 7 pm, and they let us in after hours. The room, though, felt run-down for the price. I realize we may have been paying mostly for the prime location and timing during Tour de France stages. The wifi didn’t work. We tried several times to tell the office and spent quite a while troubleshooting it with them, but at checkout they still insisted on charging us. They said it was our fault for not coming by when the office was open, instead of waiving the fee for wifi we couldn’t use. Nemea’s corporate office had also ignored other inquiries before our stay. I wouldn’t rule out Nemea completely, say if I came to watch the Tour again and it was the only room available, but after this experience I’ll definitely try to avoid their properties and stay elsewhere.
