It’s a quiet, peaceful spot in a convenient location, about a 10 minute walk from the sanctuary. The rooms are a bit small, which seems typical for France. Our showers wouldn’t drain, but the issue was fixed within two hours. The staff were wonderful. We overslept and got to breakfast at 9:15am, and they brought out more food just for us. Then a family emergency meant we had to leave early, and they kindly refunded the nights we couldn’t use. Checkout was meant to be at 10am, but with our flight at 6pm they let us stay until 3pm.

The rooms were unbearably hot, with no air conditioning, and we were given winter duvets in the middle of summer. Mosquitoes covered the walls, and there were no window nets. At 11pm, when we checked in, the front desk first put us in a room that hadn’t been prepared. Service was poor. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ll never return. I’d guess most people won’t stay there again either.

The family who run it are amazing, and the staff are number one for me. The rooms are clean, and it sits on the river Pau. Best hotel in Lourdes. I go every year, it’s a beautiful place 😊

The food quality was poor, but the internet was very strong everywhere in the hotel and the rooms were clean. It’s close to the Sanctuary, and despite being near Lourdes’ busiest street, it’s quite at night.
