The room was hot and smelled of mold, and the whole hotel had no ventilation. The restaurant cooking smells filled the building. We were there in October, when the hotel had turned off the A/C because, as the front desk manager told me, the temperature was at a “certain degrees.” We were told to open the windows and doors, but ours opened onto a ledge with rat droppings above a street lined with cafes. We weren't about to open them. We had paid for an air-conditioned room, and it was 75 degrees inside. I tried several times to get help from the abrasive front desk manager, but she did nothing to address our concerns. It was a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. We had prepaid and have since called our bank. There are many other properties across from the entrance to the Lourdes Grounds.

The location was the best part, just a three-minute walk to the Grotto. The rooms are big, the price is reasonable, and the staff are friendly, which is a big plus by European standards. It's one of the oldest hotels in Lourdes, probably the oldest, built in 1894. A great hotel and worth the money.

We enjoyed the roof, with its great view and windows we could open to let in the cold winter air. The rooms were acceptable, and being so close to the Grotto was another plus. Breakfast was lovely in a pleasant dining room. We were always the first there because of our Singapore biological clock. The only downside was that the toilet and shower were in separate rooms. A wonderful stay, and we'll be back.

The restaurant was excellent, with high-quality meals, careful presentation, and professional service. We also had excellent service in general, especially from Sra. Montse at reception. Everything was perfect. We hope to return soon.

The staff really made the stay, especially the proactive and helpful front desk team, including Anthony and Abbey. The restaurant was a little expensive, but the food was exceptional, the best we had in Lourdes, and its service staff were fantastic. I still want the breakfast chef’s madeleine recipe! Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the hotel is perfectly placed near the Basilica. We had a lovely stay and would come again.
