The Basilica is only about a five minute walk away, and they arranged parking at a partner hotel. The staff were super friendly and supportive. It’s good value for the price, though the building is old, there’s no air conditioning, and you shouldn’t expect luxury.

4/10
For the low price, I suppose it’s worth it, but comfort is limited. The room and bed smelled sweaty, like a few old people had died there. I don’t know how this got a 3 star rating. The place was fairly clean, the Wi-Fi was good, and the staff were friendly. That’s about all you can expect.

We tried to cancel our booking a week ahead, both through the website and by phone, but couldn’t do it even though the policy allowed cancellation up to 24 hours beforehand.

It’s an old hotel, but hard to beat for the price and how close it is to the Grotto.

Three stars seems about right.
