I went back last week, 52 years after my first visit, and this place still means a lot to me. Seeing the shutters up was sad. Maybe it’s only open seasonally, but I don’t know. It’s at the end of a cul-de-sac, about a ten-minute walk from the grotto, just up a street from the river and not far from the old bridge.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. Don’t stay here.

The rooms were very quiet and clean, and the value was excellent. The food is simple. The Sacred precinct and the Grotto are just five minutes away. I highly recommend it.
