Les Jardins

A quiet, clean hotel very close to the airport. The staff were especially courteous. I don’t know the older gentleman’s name, but after we came down from the mountains he helped us sort out our laundry. He was a very nice man.

The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the pool was really nice. There’s free parking on site, and I’d recommend the breakfast too, with its very good selection and careful preparation. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. A comfortable hotel very close to Bastia airport, and a good choice if you need to stay nearby.

The owner made us feel especially well looked after. She even moved our room to the ground floor after noticing our heavy cases, so we wouldn’t have to struggle upstairs. She showed us around the room and checked that we were happy, and her customer service was responsive before and during our stay. She also makes home-cooked cakes, crepes, frittata, and scrambled eggs, alongside lots of fresh fruit and jams, some homemade. The owner really is like a caring mum. Some of the staff speak a little English. The setting is lovely, with green space, a beautiful garden, and well-kept plants. There’s a peaceful pool area with quality sun-loungers and umbrellas. Fresh flowers on the tables are a nice touch. Our room had a little terrace, a great shutter, air-con, and a TV. There was paraben-free shampoo and body wash. The beds were a bit firm for our taste, though the pillows and bedding were very good. The bathroom was lovely and had a bath, which I prefer to just a shower. The toilet was separate, which feels a little old-fashioned, but both spaces were very clean, so it didn’t matter much. This is a perfect place for a Bastia flight, only five minutes from the airport, yet tucked away from the main roads and quiet. It would also work for a longer stay as a base to explore nearby Bastia. There’s a lovely restaurant nearby, and we noticed they offer yoga too. We had a restful, comfortable stay and would definitely return. Thanks for making our last afternoon and night in Corsica so lovely.

We felt really taken care of. The staff were super friendly, arranged dinner reservations, and even booked an early cab that arrived ahead of time. Our clean room was on the main floor, with a small patio facing a well-kept garden. We had an early flight, and a breakfast with lots of choice was ready before 6am.
