The kids loved seeing all the farm animals, and the people looking after the place were lovely. It was calm, cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with everything furnished really well.

The owners were lovely, always there if needed but never in the way. The two cottages are beautifully decorated, with tasteful, refined furnishings, and we found everything we needed, from equipment to things to do. We spent a week there as a family and felt at home. The quiet, natural setting made it easy to switch off and feel far away from everyday life. Thank you, we'll definitely come back!

The hosts were kind and attentive, and the cottage was comfortable, nicely decorated, and fully equipped. Sarthou Farm sits in beautiful countryside, making it a great quiet escape near Pau and the Pyrenees. I had a perfect stay and would happily recommend it.

The only snag was the poor 4G and Wi-Fi, though that's not the owners' fault. It really is a dead zone, so it turned into a proper digital detox. The pool was lovely, and the place had a relaxed, family feel. The owners and their children were lovely, helpful without hovering, and clearly fond of their region. They enjoy sharing it. The grounds are beautifully decorated and practical. We'll definitely be back!
