Apartment 220 was in a shameful state during our 10-day stay. It was dirty, with cobwebs everywhere, and bags of rubbish and pans had been shoved under the furniture. Outside, the deckchairs were torn, paper cups had been left on the floor, and the hammock cover was in unacceptable condition. The supposed wardrobe was basically a storage room crammed with all sorts of things, yet we were expected to keep our clothes there. The small bathroom was dirty, and there wasn't even a courtesy roll of toilet paper. I don't think the agency or the landlady know how to look after tourists. When something goes wrong, they try to pass responsibility along. I'd strongly advise against staying here.

We rented apartment 212, and its sanitary condition was appalling. I ended up vacuuming it myself the morning after we arrived. There was almost no privacy, since the outdoor areas are right beside other rentals, and you can hear through the apartments because there's no soundproofing. The owner seemed “kind” at first, then left negative reviews that were completely unjustified. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. There are much better places in this beautiful part of Corsica.

Marina di Sant-Ambroggio is a pleasant beach and works well for children. The setting between Ille Rousse and Calvi is beautiful, too. But getting to the beach on foot from the apartments is a tough walk, especially with kids, if you don't want to drive. We spent two weeks in an apartment with a garden that wasn't clean when we arrived, and spent the whole time battling a very unpleasant ant infestation.

We spent a week in this apartment and had a superb view.
