The service was attentive, and the dishes were nicely plated. It's a lovely historic place, with the chef and team serving creative gastronomic food and trying to use vegetables and herbs from their garden when possible. I couldn't quite grasp how the twist brought the food to life, though, or perhaps it just needed more seasoning, so I can only give three stars. The wine list was quite light but okay. And for the first time ever, my G&T came as London Dry in a glass with a bottle of tonic set beside it.

Every room and its decorations follow a fairy-tale theme at this Logis de France 🇫🇷 Hotel Restaurant 👒 LE CHAPEAU ROUGE 🎩, a place that feels like a fairy tale. Dinner was a delicious dream, with each dish made with love, gourmet inspiration, and ingredients from the local market. Give it a try and tell me how it felt. I learned here that fairy tales aren't meant to send children to sleep, but to wake adults up 🔆.
