The chairs are crooked, rusty old metal garden chairs, and the table wobbles. There are other problems throughout the apartment: the shower seal is moldy, the freezer door has come off, and the cabinet is sticky with dirt. The room lights don’t work. The radiators are so dirty that they stink when switched on. The shower nozzle leaks so badly it can’t be used, the building’s entrance door is so crooked it’s almost impossible to close, and the flush sometimes gets stuck.
