Best Western Hotel Saint Antoine

We spent 3 nights here and had a very good stay. The room was a little small, but really clean from the moment we arrived, and it smelled so nice. The staff were kind, gave us all the information we needed, and offered suggestions for places to visit. The location is perfect. We’ll come back to this hotel next time we’re in Lyon!

The room decor is very, very basic, and there’s only one kind of soap in the shower. It reminded me of a 1990s student residence. Most of the staff, including the night guard, were helpful and professional. The problem was the cleaners and others repeatedly banging the shared corridor door, sometimes every five minutes. They didn’t use a door stopper and seemed not to care that people were trying to sleep right beside it.

The mattress was comfortable, the receptionist was kind and helpful, and the stay itself was comfortable. The location is excellent, close to attractions, restaurants, a bus stop, and shops. There’s centralized air conditioning, which was okay. I’d definitely recommend it. My one star deduction was because there was no fridge.

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of the city. The reception staff were friendly, but there wasn’t really any other service. The rooms were very small and not good. It’s a very old building, and the rooms facing what looks like a courtyard were dark, with no view at all. I wasn’t happy staying in the room.
