We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Sylvie's place. She goes out of her way to make guests comfortable, and the spacious room was very comfortable too. Breakfast was simple but did the job. Getting there involves a short, steep walk, followed by more stairs to the room, so large or heavy suitcases can be difficult. Sylvie's English is limited, though that wasn't a problem for us because my spouse is fluent.

The view from our room was amazing, and we loved the fresh local pastries at breakfast each morning. There was room for everything we needed, including a fridge, coffee and tea facilities, and plenty of cupboard space. Sylvie was caring and welcoming, and had suggestions for different things to do around the city. We were also lucky to check in early and keep the room a bit longer at checkout. The place is right in the middle of the old town, with what you need for a three-day trip. It was a memorable stay, though the hills and stairs would make it a poor fit for anyone who has trouble walking.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and our room had everything we needed and felt comfortable. The old town is lovely, with lots of good places to eat, and many attractions are within walking distance. A perfect base for visiting Lyon.

Breakfast was tasty and wholesome, and the place itself is charming, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It's in Vieux Lyon, so the location is great, yet it stays quiet. See you again, Sylvie!
