Carlton Hotel Lyon - MGallery Collection

I arrived as a walk-in and wasn’t told about the parking fee. It came as a surprise at checkout, at around €40 per night. I also left a sweater in the wardrobe, but despite several calls and emails, it was never found. That was disappointing, especially after paying €800 for two nights. I stayed in room 319 in January 2026. The hotel itself is nice, with a great location and a decent room, and the young man at the front desk was professional and friendly. The room and location deserve more stars, but the service and follow-up let me down.

We were very happy with our choice. The service was excellent, the accommodation was even better than we expected, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything nearby. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Highly recommended!

The location couldn’t be better, right in the middle of downtown. We also had a small problem with our room, but the hotel moved us to another one straight away and handled it smoothly. A lovely moment came at breakfast. I couldn’t find the goat cheese I wanted the day before, and it was near the end of service, so they weren’t replenishing it. I came earlier the next morning and still didn’t see it, but Mr. Sylvain and Mr. Olivier from the breakfast team brought out a whole plate without me even asking. I was so touched by that kindness. They were the best. Thank you for making our stay so special.

The reception team were so accommodating during our stay at the Carlton. My son was unwell, and they arranged a late checkout without any hassle. They also helped us get a last-minute table at Carmelo. We loved staying here, and really appreciated their help.
