We had a poor stay. The shower was so cramped it was hard to use, and breakfast was disappointing. Getting into the place meant going through three separate doors, each with its own code. They charged 20 euros for parking, but the space was shared with other guests, and we were asked three times to move our car so he could squeeze more cars in. Christian, the host, was nice and clearly trying his best, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

The location didn't work for us, with hardly any decent restaurants nearby in this residential area. The room had no closet, no heat control and a sink squeezed into such a narrow space that I couldn't fit my shoulders in to wash my face. The furniture was rickety, even the tiny table felt too unstable to safely set down a glass, and the toilet paper was rough. Staff were nowhere around during the hours they were supposed to welcome guests. The owner was on holiday, and a hired employee was there, but she never approached or greeted us when we saw her, as she was busy with friends. She was Ukrainian and spoke no English and hardly any French. Simply not a good place to stay.

The room we had was one of the smaller ones, but it was still comfortable. This is a cute boutique hotel in a large house, with friendly, attentive staff and lovely decor. The listed building status means AC can't be installed, which could be tough for some guests in summer. Soundproofing may also feel a bit thin.

The location was good, but the Cinema room was very uncomfortable, with a round bed right in the middle. The shower was in a tub and there was no curtain, so water could spill out. I'd avoid this place.
