When you get there, you have to call to arrange things, then go pick up the keys somewhere else, maybe two or three bus stops away. That’s especially awkward if you’re carrying a heavy bag.

The apartment was lovely, and it had pretty much everything we needed: a vacuum, stove, fridge, TV, and drying rack. The key pickup sounds more complicated than it is, since the emails explain it clearly. Great location and a really good stay. I think there may not be Wi-Fi, though we barely used our phones anyway.

The apartment got unbearably hot during a hot weekend, and we had a terrible time. There were no blinds or blackout curtains on the window, which made the heat even worse. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the TV signal was almost nonexistent.
