The apartment itself was okay, but the owners were incredibly rude. The instructions about getting the key were so unclear that we ended up sleeping on the stairs. I travel constantly and have never had anything like that happen. I can’t stress enough how badly the owners treated us.

It’s a charming little place with good bathrooms and a great location. The stairs can wear you out, though.

The view was fantastic. The rest of the conditions could have been better.

The private cinema room and bubbling jacuzzi made our stay at the Host Inn suite in Croix-Rousse feel magical. It was peaceful, private, and comfortable, like being tucked away in a little cocoon above Lyon. Such a special, timeless escape.

We had to cancel our Lyon reservation because of a last-minute conflict and couldn’t travel. The manager wouldn’t offer any compensation, so we lost the full cost of the booking. He was extremely unwilling to discuss it. I’d strongly advise against this place, since even a small problem could leave you stranded.
