The rooms were nice and clean, but at this price the stay felt a bit overpriced because it didn’t match what had been advertised. My boyfriend had arranged lovely roses for me through the hotel, but what arrived was a single unscented rose in a rather tasteless black container. The staff felt a little too involved, peering through windows and doors, so it didn’t feel very private or romantic. We also weren’t prepared for the steep walk up the hill with our very large suitcases, and nobody helped us with them. Staff leave promptly at 7 p.m., so plan on checking yourself in if you arrive later.

The location up in Lyon’s pretty Vieux Lyon neighborhood was lovely, and breakfast was very enjoyable, with more than enough food for two. We got a partial refund after one of the Jacuzzis wasn’t working, but at this price for a night, I think the installation should be checked between every guest. That’s why I can’t rate the stay higher, despite the good experience overall.

We remember our stay fondly. The hotel staff were so accommodating that they even made reservations for us before we’d checked in.

A real gem 💎, with elegant interiors, great customer service, and an exquisite breakfast 😋. The view over lyon is incredible, and it’s a romantic, quiet spot for a memorable stay.

The place is locked so far, and I haven’t had any reply to my calls or texts about checking in.
