The Rendezvous suite had a lovely view, great WiFi, and a terrific location. The host got back to me quickly, and I appreciated being allowed a late checkout. The hot water ran out quickly, so I couldn't wash my hair, and the bathtub, which was my main reason for booking, was basically unusable. I tried adding several kettle loads of hot water, but it took ages and didn't stay warm. The cleaner arrived at 4 p.m. when I needed to work, then ignored my do-not-disturb sign the next day while I had a late checkout. I also found a cigarette burn on the bathrobe.

The bed was really comfortable, and the neighborhood stayed quiet even late at night. Check-in was self-service, communication was easy, and they cleaned the room every day, which I hadn't expected. The location between the two rivers is excellent.

The Vertigo Suite at Mihotel made quite an impression on our family of four, visiting from EuroDisney. My kids called it the best hotel room ever, and my wife joked she'd come back without them. We've stayed in hotels all over Europe, but this one stood out for its design, comfort, and atmosphere. The one-bedroom suite had ornate wall panels, original hardwood floors, and ceilings nearly four meters high. The master bed and pull-out couch were both comfortable, the shower had excellent pressure, and the freestanding tub felt luxurious. The modern kitchen was stylish and well equipped for a family. Highly recommend Mihotel and the Vertigo Suite!

We had extended family with us, and they were able to book other suites in the same elegant building. Our Rendezvous suite was spacious and stylish, with air conditioning, and it was an easy walk to Place Bellcour, Vieux Lyon, and other main sights. There are pleasant restaurants on the square, plus good bakeries and supermarkets nearby.
