We chose the apartment for a six-week stay because it advertised an oven, and we wanted to cook our own meals. I told the Director a few days after arriving that it wasn’t working. Even though I kept following up, it wasn’t replaced until three days before we left. When we asked for a refund because the advertised facility wasn’t available, the Director kept putting us off. The latest response was, “No decision has been made yet.” We left Quadraverde on 15 January, so I don’t understand why they still haven’t decided. They didn’t hold up their side of the agreement, but don’t seem to think they should reimburse us. We definitely wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it. Cleaning was hit and miss too, and finding so much dust under the bed when we arrived was a bad start.

Late one evening, we found a large spider inside the apartment. Since there’s no reception, we had to call the owner. We asked him to offer some solution, even a change of flat, but he refused. We then asked to leave early and get our remaining nights refunded, and he refused that too. The next morning, the cleaning service tried spraying products to get rid of it, but that didn’t work. We had no choice but to stay, watching out for our unwelcome visitor and sleeping very poorly.
