The rooms feel fresh and new. The location is okay depending on why you’re traveling, though it’s definitely outside the center. Breakfast is basic and limited. Fine if it’s included, but I wouldn’t pay extra for it.

What won me over was how kind and helpful everyone on staff was. I’d stay here again if I return. I often choose Hilton hotels and really like them, so just one small suggestion: take out the tall nightstand in front of the window, because it makes the room look cheap. The room was simpler than other Hilton rooms on the first day, and the bathroom in particular was disappointing.

The hotel is by the river, and there’s a public bus within a 10 minute walk. Parking is available for 11 Euros per day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, much like the Hilton Gardens in the US. There’s a small gym and a rooftop patio with a nice view. It’s also a ten minute walk to a great French restaurant, Brasserie L'Quest Bocuse.

The staff were consistently kind and smiling, and the hospitality was excellent. My room on the Saône river side was huge and very comfortable, with a lovely river view and a bathtub. If you time breakfast right, you might get freshly baked croissants, which were delicious. It’s a bit away from the main tourist sights, but getting around by bus or bicycle is convenient, so I highly recommend it. There’s no refrigerator in the room, though the front desk will store refrigerated items for you.
