Q7 Lodge Lyon 7

We had to wait briefly for our room during check-in. While we waited, one staff member shouted and even hit the front desk out of frustration. His manner was extremely discourteous and unprofessional toward us and his colleagues. That behavior has no place in hospitality. He needs customer service training as soon as possible.

For the price, our one-night stay was great value. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the AC worked just fine despite what we'd read in older reviews. Parking and the necessary services are available, and the staff were lovely. Thanks, Laura, for being so kind.

It was a pleasant stay. The room was huge, had everything we needed, and was cleaned thoroughly every day. The metro is close enough to get around anywhere.

The location worked well for us. It was about a 10-minute walk to a bakery, supermarket, and subway line that goes straight to the city center. The area around the hotel seemed safe, and garage parking was €10 per day. During our August night there, it was 38°C in the heat wave. The AC does switch off at night, but since it runs all day, the room stayed cool. Staff were very friendly and spoke English very well, and our room was clean. We skipped breakfast so I could try an authentic bakery, though I'm sure it was brilliant. We want to come back to Lyon and would book here again. Merci Q7 team!
