We spent 3 nights there in September 2025 and would most probably stay again. The location is very convenient, and the free parking garage nearby meant we didn’t need the car at all while in Lyon. Metro, bakery, supermarket, shops, and restaurants are just steps away. The apartment was stylish and well equipped, though the bed in the bathroom was rather unconventional. An English-language TV news channel would have been nice. Loading or unloading outside can be a little tricky since the building is on a main road, but it can be done.

My father became seriously ill, so we couldn’t make the trip. More than a week ahead, we asked if the dates could be changed. They didn’t respond at first, and only after we kept following up did they say the change wasn’t possible, even though the dates we requested were available. They also said we’d given short notice, despite not answering our first message. We’ve changed dates for other reasons before without any trouble. We found this a huge lack of empathy and understanding.
