Hv Tel Concorde

The staff were warm and helpful, giving us a map, pointing out our reserved restaurant, and offering recommendations. Breakfast had a nice spread of bread, cheese, cold cuts, and other things. I liked that the perishables were kept in the fridge and that everything looked inviting. Hot drinks came in big mugs, and breakfast runs until 9:30. It's a charming little hotel in a quiet neighborhood, decorated with fun pop Art touches. Our room was roomy and cute, though the bathroom felt a bit tight, with the toilet right beside the door. There's secure garage parking for €8 a day. Since it was Sunday, we parked around the corner for free; half a day there costs €2.90.

Street parking is free, or you can use the hotel's garage for €10. The city centre is about a 10-minute walk away, and the location is nice. It feels closer to a three-star place than a two-star hotel. Two things could be better: curtains that block the light, and a lower breakfast price for children.

We only stayed one night while heading south, and it was a calm, tidy little hotel with good value for the price. The rooms were quiet, the beds were good, and the decor was nice. Everyone was kind and very helpful, and breakfast was perfect. There was private parking too. The centre is a 10-minute walk away. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant they recommended.

The owners are very customer-friendly and the service was great. It's a creative hotel and everything was clean. One thing to know, though: there wasn't fresh shampoo, just a bottle that other guests had used. Parking through the hotel costs €8 per night.
