We booked online smoothly on Friday Feb 20th for one night, 20-21 Feb, and got an immediate confirmation by email. When we arrived, though, the man at reception said the hotel was full and that he'd emailed and called us about it. He said there was a bug in the system. No apology or anything. A very disappointing experience.

The room and bathroom were nice and clean. What a shame the breakfast was bad: the scrambled eggs were watery and the sausages only half cooked.

We had dinner and breakfast here, and both were good, which was a relief since there aren't many options nearby. The hotel is spotless, with large, well-equipped rooms, comfortable beds and great service. There's also a nice little swimming pool if the kids need to burn off some energy after a day in the car. A perfect motorway stopover. We'd definitely book again.

We stayed here on the way to Spain and again on the return trip. The location was perfect and the hotel clean and adequate, though perhaps a bit dated. We slept well and breakfast was okay. Good value for money, and I'd recommend it.

Even though our group of 45 arrived very late, they still managed to serve us dinner. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast had a good range of choices. The hotel was spotless, welcoming, and a lovely place to stop while travelling. Strongly recommended.
