The pool is lovely, and there’s a great walk that starts right from the VVF. The managers were incredibly friendly, and the staff welcomed us with real warmth and kindness. We had a fantastic, relaxing week, with a magnificent lake view and a beautiful setting. For anyone wanting quiet, though, going off-season is probably best because the accommodation doesn’t block much sound. Our week was superb until five young people arrived on the last day, thankfully, shouting and slamming doors as if they were alone. It was genuinely disrespectful. Aside from that final evening, I really have nothing to complain about.
