We only dropped in for a beer one Sunday afternoon, but ended up having a memorable encounter. A well-traveled man sat with us, shared a little about his past, and kindly signed the book we bought. His stories offered a glimpse into who he is. Truly unique.

The captain has a personality as unusual as the place, and is absolutely worth meeting. It’s informal, warm, and all about sharing. If you’re a Parisian hipster looking for somewhere to feel at home, this probably isn’t your place.
