Hotel Restaurant Les Rosieres

We loved the pool and sauna, and our room was so clean, comfortable, and well cared for that we assumed the hotel had been renovated recently. The renovations were in 2011, but everything is still immaculate. It has that authentic mountain feel, with comforts and service that make the stay easier. We had a perfect three-day getaway as a couple and would happily return. Merci la famille Pessey! The family atmosphere is a big part of the charm. The staff are so kind, and the hotel is run by its third generation of owners. Two generations look after the hotel and restaurant, and the service is outstanding. On Friday, the current manager Christophe surprised us with a show, playing the accordéon and piano and singing. The food was delicious, especially considering half board costs 50€ per person. I highly recommend it. Manigod is surrounded by mountains, with skiing in winter and a great setting for hikers and cyclists in summer. There are at least four afternoon hikes available from the hotel. I recommend Plateau de Beauregard for its incredible view of Mont Blanc.

The hosts were very friendly, and the pool was a lovely bonus that the kids really enjoyed. The food was superb. Dinner at 19:30 felt a bit late for our young children, who were 2 and 3.5.

The restaurant has beautiful views and serves wonderful food, bravo to the chef! Even with every table occupied, service was fast, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We loved the stay. The rooms are very nice, and there’s a pool, sauna, spa, and lockers for skiers. The back door opens straight onto the blue ski route.

We’ll come back to les Sapins in Manigod. The rooms were outstanding, and we had a beautiful dinner and wine. Service was very friendly and good.
