We spent about ten minutes trying to locate the place, even with the address. On the map it sits between a railway and a creek, which may help. The rooms are plain but roomy, with a small wall-mounted TV in each. It was fine for a short stay, and nothing else particularly disappointed me.

There’s a nice Chinese all-you-can-eat restaurant right across from the hotel, and the service here was good. The hotel itself is decent, though nothing fancy. Finding it by car can be tricky: even the local taxi driver got lost when we were already close, and his two GPS devices suggested different routes.

Late arrivals and weekend check-ins are easy here. You get a PIN by email for the entrance, then collect your key card from an automated box. The room had a bathroom, LCD TV, fridge and microwave. Wi-Fi is limited to one connection per room, so if you’re sharing, bring a router that can share the connection. There’s also a small gym and laundry.

It was over 30°C outside in the daytime, and the room felt just as hot at night. There’s no air conditioning, only the fan shown in the picture, so sleeping was really difficult. A disastrous stay.
