Bernard showed us around the village before we headed off, a lovely extra after such a warm welcome from Michele and Bernard throughout our stay. We were there on 5th August with our children and parents, and the rooms were spotless, with every detail taken care of. Our dietary needs were met without any fuss. For an authentic French stay, this is a great choice, though you’ll need a basic grasp of French. They really went out of their way for us.

Dinner was superb, and we ate in the beautifully maintained garden. We arrived on two motorcycles and could leave them in the garage of their lovely house. Michelle and Bernard made us feel welcome straight away. Our room had everything we needed and was set a little apart from the main living areas. The whole place was impeccably clean. Thanks for everything.

Bernard put together wonderful hiking routes so we could take in more of the region, while Michelle paid close attention to what we needed. The welcome in your magnificent home was phenomenal, and the accommodation was top-notch, from the bedding through to breakfast and even the beer break. We loved spending four days with you. Michelle and Bernard welcomed us so warmly that we felt like family. We had long, lovely chats with them each day, and their kindness really touched us. Bernard suggested places to see in Auvergne and even guided us around Mareugheol, sharing the story of the beautiful medieval village. Michelle spoiled us with her cooking. Dinner was spectacular, with local ingredients and a different surprise recipe each day. Breakfast was generous and excellent too. The country house is beautiful, with a charming courtyard and inner garden, tastefully furnished rooms, very comfortable beds, and exceptionally clean throughout. ❤️ 🤗🤗🤗
