Chambre d'hôtes Escale Villa

Really nice place, and the staff were great. The woman there didn't speak English, but she made an effort. Download Google Translate before you go.

The pool was especially welcome in the summer heat in the south of France, and there's a private sauna too, which is unusual in French hotels and seems like an energy-efficient setup. I had a lovely night here. The welcome was genuinely warm, and breakfast was excellent, with everything fresh, from the juice and fruit to the croissants, pain au chocolat, and baguette. A great stopover, highly recommend it.

The pool and decor were fantastic, and the place felt like a real change of scenery. It's near the airport but we never heard planes. The only thing lacking nearby is restaurants, though that gave us a reason to get out and see the surrounding towns. We had breakfast at 7:30 every morning, with delicious pastries. The grounds were beautiful, the gîte clean and peaceful, and the owners were always ready with helpful advice. We came to see Marseille but ended up enjoying Marignane even more. We had an amazing 12 days and were sorry to leave for our vacation's next stop. I hope we can come back soon. Thanks again to you both, kisses from Belgium.

We had a lovely private terrace and a peaceful pool with just the right water temperature. The sauna was fantastic, too. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was available for guests. The welcome was so warm and attentive, and a very good breakfast was included. Highly recommended, thank you.
