You get what you pay for here. The property needs a serious deep clean, and the overall cleanliness could be much better. It was also noisy, with people shouting in the hallways until midnight. I think there's a market in the parking lot, and that makes a lot of noise during the day. The service was very friendly, and breakfast was good.

The location is good, near the airport. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We checked in quite late, and he helped us get checked in and offered us utensils for dinner.

The manager was lovely, and the place may be fine for workers or backpackers. But I couldn't stay another night and went elsewhere, losing a night because the room smelled strongly of smoke, as if it was coming through the ventilation, and the aircon above us kept me awake with noise all night.

It's a clean and safe place for an overnight in Marseille, and I'd recommend it for that, but not for a longer stay. We were happy to find a sandwich shop not far away when we learned that none of the nearby restaurants were open on Sunday. We brought our food back to eat in the lobby and breakfast area. It's a no-frills 2-star hotel in a mainly residential part of the city. The male staff member at reception was helpful and made sure we were up in time to check out, which we really appreciated after our exhausting travels.

The room and bathroom were small, but both were modern and spotlessly clean. There were no bad smells anywhere. Even though we were there for just two nights, the room was cleaned during our stay, unlike at some other hotels. Breakfast was basic but satisfying, and the parking lot was spacious and felt safe. We arrived during reception hours and were welcomed by a very polite, friendly gentleman. Everything went smoothly while we were there.
