Les Chambres De Jeannette

Save your money and time and find another hotel. I can't tell whether the landlord is racist or has some other serious issue, but my experience was awful. I booked a room that morning and told her I would arrive at night because of my work and train schedule. After a seven-hour trip, following two surgeries that morning, I was exhausted and badly needed the bathroom. At first she seemed nice, showed me the room and keys, and I was friendly. I asked her to hurry up since I was tired and everything was okay with me, but she took offense for no clear reason and told me to leave if I didn't like the hotel. It was nearly 9pm, so I tried to keep things calm rather than start an argument. She still found a way to kick me out. I'm a surgeon from Saudi Arabia, and status or money isn't the issue for me. I even spoke French instead of English to show respect, but none of that seemed to matter. Maybe it was because I'm not white, though I can't say for sure. I never even saw my room, yet she could still keep my money. Booking didn't help when I reported what happened, and told me the landlord might still charge me. You could end up on the street or paying more for another hotel that night. Trust me, avoid this place. You don't want this at the end of your day.
