Comfortable beds and pillows, plus free luggage storage. Breakfast was fresh, with a limited but sufficient selection. The hotel team were nice and helpful, and the location was great.

I arrived around 2 AM with a confirmed booking, after reconfirming with reception earlier that day. Nobody had mentioned a problem, but when I got there I was told there wasn't a room for me and sent to a different nearby hotel. It was well below the standard of the place I'd booked and paid for. I had to be up at 6:30 AM, so the late transfer left me with hardly any rest. Having to walk through the city at that hour felt unsafe, even with a security escort. The whole situation was handled badly and showed little concern for guest safety. I don't understand why they accept bookings they can't honor, or why they didn't tell me beforehand so I could make my own arrangements. I emailed hotel management a few times to complain and never got a reply or even an acknowledgment. With that experience and no follow-up, I can't recommend staying here.

The location made getting around Marseille easy, with the hotel near Saint charles train station and the metro. My room was clean, and the place was quiet and relaxing. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful. Mouhammed at the front desk especially stood out. I asked his name so I could mention him here. He was welcoming, always smiling, and made everything easy. Thanks again.

The location works well if you need the station nearby, and the center is a 10-15 minute walk away. My room was small, but fine for two nights. The carpet was dirty, though I managed with slippers. Most of the staff were respectful and fine, but the lady at reception was rude and unfriendly. At checkout I handed her my key card, and she asked for my room number without looking at it. Later, when I came back for my luggage and went to find the toilet, she shouted, “Madam, what're you looking for?” I told her I was looking for the toilet and could see it out there. She snapped that I needed to tell her so she could give me the key, then angrily entered something on her computer and threw the key to me. I don't understand why she was so angry. Staff should help customers politely. This behavior was upsetting, and I regret the hotel has such an unfriendly, rude staff member. I won't come back, even though the rest was fine for me.
