The features are pretty modest, but the place sits beside a lovely river in the "gorges du Tarn" where people swim. There are also lots of stone houses over 150 years old. The staff are charming, the room was quiet, and the food was great. And did I mention a room for two costs EUR 39???

The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was nice. Portions can feel a bit small for the price, though the salads are generous. As usual in France, there was way too much dressing, so I’d ask for it on the side.
