Even after my travel agency quickly told the hotel that my flight had been cancelled, they charged the entire room cost and wouldn’t make an exception. I’d paid already, so later I asked whether I could use the booking on another date. They could have said yes or no, but never replied. Chasing them by phone and email took a lot of time and was really frustrating. Poor customer service, especially when I needed help with something unexpected.

It’s a nice place to sleep, around 20 minutes from Disney, with clean rooms and a big bed. We booked breakfast too, but it wasn’t great: just a few croissants from the day before, awful scrambled eggs, and some yogurt. The coffee was okay. When more guests came down, the woman working there put out croissants, exactly one per person.

The 24-hour check-in was handy since we arrived late, though getting to the hotel was a little difficult. In our room, a light couldn’t be turned off all night, so sleeping was hard. I think the operator booked us into a wheelchair room without us asking for one. The bed didn’t look very clean, and I woke up with a few bites under my armpits. We didn’t get a proper night’s sleep and felt like the bed bugs had been biting us.

I booked a room for a weekend event in Meaux. It was clean, the service was perfect, and the breakfast was good. French food in general is some of the best.

On the outskirts of Meaux, this hotel offers straightforward accommodation at a good price.
