The woman who got out of bed to let us in at 2am was lovely, and she’d be an asset to a proper hotel. The room itself was grubby, with an uncomfortable bed, though it was a little better than sleeping in the car. There was a washbasin in the room but no soap or towel. The shared toilets had no sink, soap, or towels either. I can handle basic, but this was worse than a South American prison.

I came back because I’d forgotten something and found a bald man inside my room. He had entered while I was away, without asking permission. What right did he have to go in? If anything had gone missing, would he have compensated me? Shame on the hotel administrator. I don’t recommend this place.

The receptionist was very nice, and there are supermarkets nearby where you can buy food. It’s also within walking distance of the town centre. I’ve stayed in hotels like this while travelling around France. The quality isn’t the best I’ve had, but it’s decent for what you pay for the room.

I gave it two stars because it was clean. The bathrooms and showers are shared, and I had to wait outside in the parking lot for two hours for the receptionist. Avoid this place!
