Campanile NATURE - Meaux

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, and the location was convenient, about 35 minutes from the airport. But the bathroom was dated and smelled moldy, the air conditioning didn’t work in the terrible heat, and we found cockroaches in there. The room we got on our third attempt was at the back, with no view or protection. At check-in, the staff member gave us a key card that wouldn’t open the room even though she’d activated it. We asked for help three times and she didn’t seem interested in sorting it out. The whole stay was awful, and we wouldn’t come back. I hope management addresses the front desk service, the bathroom smell, the broken air conditioning, and the cockroaches.

The staff were very kind, and we appreciated their hospitality. The rooms were clean enough, and the location was very good, with supermarkets and a gas station nearby. A good choice for visiting Disneyland Paris!

There’s a big, clean parking area with accessible parking, and the place is close to a mall, a gas station, fast food, and grocery shops. A bus stop right out front can save you the cost of a taxi. Receptionist Djamel speaks good English, so English-speaking guests shouldn’t have a language barrier.

The hotel clearly needs renovation, and our room smelled of cigarette smoke. At check-in, the first room hadn’t been cleaned or prepared. Then we were moved to a room set up for one person instead of two, with just one towel. The receptionist couldn’t speak English. The next day, the cleaner took all our towels and left no replacements, so we had to ask reception for more. I’d only recommend this place for one night at most.
