Mine De Rien

We were two couples on a snow hiking trip, and we'd love to come back. Thérèse's chalet is in a lovely spot for exploring the village of Megève and the surrounding area. She was very helpful with hiking and restaurant recommendations, and her breakfasts were varied and plentiful.

Therese runs the chalet and speaks English. She was welcoming, served a nice small continental breakfast, and suggested local restaurants. She pushed her recommendations a bit, and I suspect she got a kickback, since the places were so-so. Her playful cat purred all the time, which was lovely. The chalet is near the heart of Megeve, within walking distance of the ski lifts and restaurants. The rooms felt new, clean, and cozy. There was no shared lounge, though, so you're stuck in your room. The room locks didn't work, and there were no "do not disturb" signs. Wifi was far from the room, so the signal was iffy.

The room was super cozy, and breakfast was fantastic. Got great tips on freeride and freerando areas to explore, too!!

We stayed in the little ground-floor studio with a terrace and had some lovely conversations. The breakfasts felt worthy of a charming guesthouse, and the owner, who's from Megève, gave us useful advice throughout our stay. It's a beautiful chalet in a great location, with a very warm welcome from the owner. Don't hesitate to stay here. A big thank you to her. Dominique and Jean Pierre
