Rustic, charming, with lovely grounds and delightful staff. We stayed three nights and loved it. If you’re after quintessential Provence charm, this is the spot. If you want the Ritz, go to the Ritz.

We spent six nights here and had an incredible stay. The setting is romantic, with beautiful grounds and a sparkling clean pool. The restaurant has a world-class chef, and the staff went above and beyond when helping me ship something. It’s also ideally placed for visiting many of the area’s most charming towns.

Breakfast staff were very nice, but I can’t recommend this disappointing hotel. The rooms haven’t been renovated, there’s no stand-up shower, and the central air conditioner was broken throughout the hotel. When I brought it up, they just said, “yeah we know,” with no apology or explanation. The pool looked dirty, too. After checking out, I realized I’d been overcharged and have had no reply to my emails while trying to reach them.

I booked a superior room for five nights, starting today, but got an attic cubbyhole with a broken air conditioner and an electric fan in front of it. Provence is in a 103 heatwave, and the only ventilation was a south-facing door onto a tiny patio in blazing sun. WiFi worked only out there. Then there was a horrendous sewage line break. I had a similar problem while traveling in France last month, too. The rest of the room was shabby. Maybe other rooms have been updated, but I’ll never book here again or recommend it. For the area, the price isn’t reasonable. It’s high for such low quality.
